Dam Sprint Triathlon + Duathlon 2021

Triathlon and duathlon participants know that race day typically requires waking before the sun appears.  The Dam Spring Triathlon + Duathlon is held close to our home– which was a welcomed change!  Gavin competed in this race for the first time this year, but once completing the course, we realized it would have been the perfect race for Brody to compete in too.  Not only was this the best organized race we experienced, the DJ also added positive energy and excitement.  Our rainy summer created a soggy first run along the lake, but Gavin enjoyed the relatively flat bike and second run courses.  Out of thirty-five racers, Gavin placed seventh overall and in the men’s division.
